hero arts stamp your story blog hop

Hi there! I'm so happy to welcome you to my stop on the Hero Arts Stamp Your Story Blog Hop!

My mission for today is simple. Clean and simple, that is! I'll be sharing a couple of ideas for using some of Hero Arts' fabulous new Stamp Your Story stamps in a clean and simple way. This release truly has something for everyone -- cardmakers, scrapbookers, mixed media artists, whatever floats your boat! :)

First up is this one layer card I created with nothing but stamps, inks, and white cardstock. "Hello" was stamped with CL697 Journal Letters. Such a fun alphabet. The other elements (heart, dot border, and straight line border) come from the awesome CL696 Notebook Essentials. I adore this set -- don't tell the other stamps but it's probably my favorite from the entire release.

Next I'm sharing a sweet little friendship booklet. I'm not sure if "booklet" is even the right term, but let's go with it. :) The idea is to fill out the pages of the booklet with reasons why your friend (the recipient) fills your life with happiness. I pieced together various words from CL695 My Words to create the phrase on the front. I love that the words in this set can be combined in so many different ways. The sketchy heart comes from CL699 Sketchbook Letters.

Here's a look at one of the inside pages, ready for personalization. All of the pages were stamped using K5731 Notebook Paper, hole punched, and then numbers were added with CL699 Sketchbook Letters. A bit of baker's twine ties it all together.

In case you hadn't heard, the Stamp Your Story products featured in today's blog hop (and even more from the catalog HERE) are currently shipping to local stamp stores and will be available for purchase in the Hero Arts Online Store soon -- May 15th to be exact!

***Would you like to win some new Stamp Your Story goodies? Comment here and on the rest of the hop stops for a chance. Hero Arts will announce the lucky giveaway winner on their blog next Friday, May 10.***

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop over to the amazingly talented Jennifer McGuire's blog and see what fabulousness she's come up with. I can't wait to check it out myself. Happy hopping!

This first card is super cool. Love the CAS style of this beauty but what really grabs my attention is the clean and crispness of the design. The way that the stamping is places really gives the feel to a newspaper ad or headline title. Super sharp idea. Love the open style of the letters in the wording. Gotta try this for sure. The second idea of a book to share meaningful words is a great one Tami. We all need to remind those we love why they mean so much and that we are grateful for them daily. Thanks for sharing.
